To celebrate the launch of EV Flex Charge home energy plan ENGIE and Chargefox ran a competition to give away 3 x 900kWh Chargefox vouchers.

Benefits of the new home energy plan include:

  • Solar customers get a 10c/kWh solar feed-in tariff.
  • Flexibility to charge at home or when you’re out with a prepaid 150kWh Chargefox voucher, which is equivalent of up to 1,000kms of bonus public charging.
  • From 12 am to 6 am AEST, ENGIE will credit back 6c per kWh you use during this time.
  • All your home energy usage is certified Climate Active carbon neutral.

Congratulations to the below winners who will each receive a 900kWh Chargefox voucher.

Sue F from New South Wales

Sue F provided us with a poem about pioneering journalist Heather Ewart. Heather is a multi award winning journalist who broke down barriers as one of Australia's first female foreign correspondents. She is perhaps best known as the beloved host of "Back Roads" on the ABC, a show about the small towns and communities that make Australia special.

Heather Ewart is the companion for me.
She knows Australia from mountains to sea.
She chats up the strangers and always joins in.
Boot scootin', bike ridin' or just making a din.
She finds the good pubs and shares a cold beer.
Travelling with Heather would fill me with cheer.

Michelle H from Western Australia

Unsurprisingly there are a lot of "Swifties" out there and Taylor featured heavily in the competition. Michelle took home the prize by sneaking quite a few Tay-Tay lyrics into her entry

I’d take Taylor on my road trip because she just loves a good drive… whether it’s “in a town-car speeding”, “flooring it through the fences”, “in a getaway car” or picked up at midnight “no headlights”. TayTay all the way!

Zac H from South Australia

We just couldn't go past Zac's nomination of Sarah Aubrey as his ultimate celebrity road-trip partner. At Chargefox we love what Sarah is all about. Her instagram "Electrify This" is full of great EV content as well as practical tips on saving energy (and money!).

I would love to do a road trip with Sarah Aubrey. She's into EV, renewables, and so much more. I'd be able to learn so much from her!
