Charge up before take-off: bp pulse opens major new charging hub at Melbourne Airport

EV drivers travelling through Melbourne Airport now have another great reason to arrive early, with bp pulse officially opening one of Australia's largest public EV charging hubs in one of the country's busiest transport precincts.

Located on Airport Drive near Melbourne Airport's long-term Value Car Park, the new charging hub features 24 charging bays powered by ultrafast chargers capable of delivering up to 150kW and 300kW charging speeds. Open 24/7, the site provides a convenient charging option for travellers, airport pickups and drop-offs, rideshare drivers, and anyone passing through Melbourne's northern suburbs.

The launch further expands charging options available to Chargefox users, with bp pulse chargers already accessible through the Chargefox app. Drivers can use the app to find, start and pay for charging sessions, making it easier to access charging wherever their journey takes them.
