The Australian Electric Vehicle Association (AEVA) has announced RAA Snowtown in South Australia as the winner of their inaugural charging station award.

There are now thousands of public charging plugs available throughout the country meaning that in order to be voted the best Snowtown needs to have done more than just provide reliable charging.

So what makes RAA Snowtown the best charging station in Australia?

• Shade / shelter over the vehicles.
• Good lighting.
• Proximity to a roadhouse providing a shop and toilets. 
• Priority charging bay for people with disabilities. 
• Pull-through parking for towing. 
• AC charging as a backup option.

433 RAA charging stations across 140 locations are available on Chargefox meaning you can access the Snowtown chargers and many others directly through the Chargefox App.
