NSW Government selects Chargefox as EV Charging Provider

The New South Wales Government has selected Chargefox to provide a range of services to support the electrification of government vehicles across Australia’s most populous state.
New South Wales Government has been a big supporter of EV adoption including a range of incentives and policies to drive uptake and reduce barriers for electric vehicle (EV) purchases.
Plans for over 650 EV chargers to be built over the next 3 years across government agency locations are a key step in achieving their target of electrifying its passenger vehicle fleet by 2030.
This agreement with Chargefox marks a significant step forward in the role EVs will play in reducing CO2 emissions from the government’s fleet of over 12,000 passenger vehicles – the largest public sector fleet in the country.

As the leading software platform for charger and electric vehicle management Chargefox will provide NSW Government with:
- EV charging management for AC and DC chargers
- Onboarding, commissioning and maintenance services
Head of Business Development at Chargefox Nick Franco said “Chargefox is an Australian owned and operated company leading the way in EV fleet and charger management. Working with NSW Government, also a leader in supporting the adoption of EVs, to help electrify their own fleet is a perfect partnership”.
