NRMA Parks and Resorts now have EV charging

More than 20 NRMA holiday parks and resorts in NSW, QLD, VIC and SA now provide EV charging.
Guests will be able to book cabins with a dedicated charger or utilise communal chargers.
This is a huge step forward in supporting the increasing number of holiday makers road-tripping in an electric vehicle.
For more information on these chargers, including specific locations visit the NRMA website.
Topping up your battery overnight once you reach your destination is a huge 'quality of life' improvement for EV drivers and reduces or even eliminates the need to stop en-route to charge.
This project is a great example of the effectiveness of deploying a greater number of AC chargers. While AC chargers may be slower compared to their DC counterparts, they offer significant advantages in situations where vehicles are parked for extended periods, such as overnight stays. Having more AC chargers proves more beneficial than installing a smaller number of DC chargers, which are notably more expensive to both install and maintain.
