Chargefox now fully integrated into Mercedes experience

We're excited to announce the full integration of our charging services with new Mercedes Benz electric vehicles through Mercedes me Charge.‍

This innovation marks an Australian first, enabling Mercedes EV drivers to effortlessly find, charge, and pay for charging services directly through the Mercedes me app and their vehicle's infotainment system.

Craig Norris, Head of Channel Partnerships at Chargefox, emphasised the significance of this collaboration.

“This integration with Mercedes demonstrates how finding, using and paying for charging can be ‘baked-in’ to the vehicle, so carmakers can own and optimise the experience, and drivers don’t need a separate app or device”.

Mercedes Benz has been a key player in the Australian EV market for years, offering free Chargefox charging subscriptions with several models. The extensive number of public chargers available on Chargefox across every state and territory provides EV owners with the confidence to travel long distances.

This latest integration takes convenience to the next level, allowing drivers to find, navigate, use and pay at their nearest charging station directly from their car or via the Mercedes me app.

Chargefox is the exclusive provider of this service to Mercedes in Australia and joins over 1300 providers offering over 1.5 million charging points to Mercedes drivers globally through Mercedes me Charge.
