Using the ultra-rapid charges, EQC drivers will be able to add around 220km of range in 30 minutes, at the EQC’s maximum DC charging rate of 110kW.

After registering their vehicle details in the Chargefox app, EQC owners will have visibility of all of the free charging available to them when using the Chargefox ultra-rapid chargers

Where can I charge my EQC?
Charging your EQC is simple, and you have a number of options:
- Charge at home with the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox. With a charging capacity of 7.4kW, a Wallbox delivers speeds up to three times quicker than at a conventional household power outlet.
- Charge up while out and about at an increasing number of public charging stations. You can find your closest public charging station in the MBUX multi-media system, via your Mercedes-Benz app or the Chargefox app.
- Stay mobile on long journeys with access to Chargefox’s ultra-rapid EV charging network. These chargers are amongst the world’s fastest and provide access to the Type 2 Combined Charging System (CCS) charging standard.
How much will it cost to charge my car?
Pricing will vary depending on the model of your car and on the station. Some are free at all times, some charge a per kWh rate. You can see the individual cost of a station when you view each individual location’s details from the map.
How long will it take to charge my car?
Ah, the age old question. Actual charge times vary depending on your car model and the current charge state of your battery. The EQC model is capable of charging 220km of range in 30 minutes, at the EQC’s maximum DC charging rate of 110kW.
What is security like while my car’s charging?
Firstly, the charger locks while charging, so nobody can disconnect it from your car. Secondly, our sites are always well lit, and are next to cafés and facilities with long opening times (24/7 where possible). We aim to make all our locations safe for families to stop and charge their car, even at night. All sites will also soon have CCTV cameras installed for added security.
What plug types are supported?
All modern electric vehicles with CCS2 or CHAdeMO plugs can charge at our sites.
What renewable energy will the sites use?
All our ultra-rapid chargers are powered by 100% green power. In many cases we also add solar and batteries on site to facilitate charging via solar energy.
